Also good Essential female poses
- Camera represents objects closer larger and objects farther away smaller.
- Move hip the back makes it smaller.
- Move head and chest forward makes them larger.
- Also, camera angle from above makes eyes larger.
- Photographing at hip level may increase hip size
- Watch out for body parts pointing towards or away from camera.
- Avoid flat feet: both feet towards camera with body weight distributed evenly between them.
- For women turn one knee inside, which lifts the heel of that foot and leaves the toes on the floor.
- Front leg forward and lift heel.
- For men: one hand on the hip and that foot forward.
- Avoid excessive symmmetry.
- Step foot on stairs or object.
- Start frontal symmetric to camera.
- Rotate to one side
- Place weight on back foot and lift the front knee.
- Lean upper body to camera.
If you can curve it, curve it: you don't want straight lines.
Side view straight: shows belly and gives only straight lines.
- Start with legs, work your way upwards: otherwise it may become awkward.
- Frontal leg forward, heel up, toe on floor.
- Arch you lower back (not stick your belly out, but stick your butt out)
- Now the front arm is merging with the body and curve of the back is covered. Therefore, "pull your thump up your leg: essentially pulling the elbow backwards, such that there is space between the back and the arm. The hand can rest on the side of the leg or the hip (watch fingers, thought).
- Put foot on step and crop underneath knee.
- Clip thump in pocket for example.
- Again ask her to turn her chest towards you and you can take a higher perspective to have the face, chest closer to camera.
- Frontal standing: one step forward -> adds dynamics.
- Weight on front foot.
- One hand in pocket, the other just on the side for example.
